BernamePix Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

BernamePix (“the app”) is a photo and text design app made by Bernamechi (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app.

2. Information we collect

We do not collect any personal information. The app has no sign-in, no user accounts, and does not send your photos, designs, fonts or any other content to us or to any server.

The app does not use analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking tools, and it does not contain third-party advertising or analytics code.

3. What stays on your device

Everything you create or import is stored locally on your device, in the app’s own storage:

• Your designs, layers and the photos you add to them
• Fonts you import
• Images you export from the app
• Your preferences, such as language, appearance (light or dark), export settings and recently used colors

We cannot see this data. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it. You can also remove designs, fonts and exports yourself inside the app, and free up space from Settings → Storage.

4. Permissions the app asks for

• Photos (read): so you can choose photos from your library to design on top of. The app only receives the photos you select.
• Photos (add): so the app can save your finished designs to your photo library when you export. Saving is optional and can be turned off in Settings.
• Files: when you import a font, the app opens the system file picker and reads only the font files you choose.

You can change these permissions at any time in your device’s Settings.

5. On-device processing

Features such as the background remover, color picking, filters and exporting run on your device using the device’s own software. Your photos are not uploaded for processing.

6. Sharing

The app only shares an image when you choose to, using your device’s standard share sheet. What happens next depends on the app or service you pick, and is governed by that app’s own privacy policy. We do not receive a copy.

7. Links to other websites

The app contains a link to our website, bernamechi.com. If you open it, you leave the app and the website’s own policies apply.

8. Children

The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because nothing is collected, there is no personal information about children for us to store or share.

9. Data security

Since your content stays on your device, its security depends on your device’s protections, such as your passcode and device encryption. We recommend keeping your device and operating system up to date.

10. Your rights

Because we do not collect or hold any of your personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on our side. You are in full control of your content on your device.

11. Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects your privacy, for example by adding a feature that uses the internet, we will update this policy and the “Last updated” date above before the change is released.
